Hollywood: reverse-engineering cowardice

There are a million prisms and aspects of Hollywood, and millions more stories. I would be crazy to try to shrink the dream industry down to one or two choice bits. In my experience, the most money-greedy money-desperate money-obsessed people I’ve ever met worked in Hollywood. But this piece is about one political thread…

This is about how people can join the Club called Hollywood. What they must say and not say, how they must act, not in front of the cameras, but in real life.

There are two rules, and they both apply to politics.

Remain silent on the subject. Never make a single statement about politics. If pushed, claim complete ignorance; charmingly confess you’re an idiot.

Or: speak about politics as if you are a “liberal,” which is to say, support a favored agenda. The gay agenda, the black agenda, the women’s agenda, the humanitarian agenda, and so on. Actually meaning what you say is no part of this. Meaning is irrelevant. You mouth the right words. You make the correct noises. You don’t even have to understand what those agendas are.

Notice these are group-agendas. All about the group.

If you follow this path, and if you then happen to succeed as an actor, you might gain a special award: you’ll be permitted to play a hero on camera who fights injustice and wins.

You’ll be permitted to play the lone individual who, against all odds, succeeds in overcoming evil.

In other words, and this is vital to understand, if you first surrender your status as an independent individual in life, you’ll be allowed to play an undefeated individual onscreen.

That’s the reverse ticket, the reverse price, the reverse entry card.

If, on the other hand, you proclaim your status as an independent free individual in life, hostile to big government, repelled by political correctness, you’ll be marginalized and ridiculed and attacked and mocked and denied entry to the Club.

Hollywood demands movies in which free, powerful, and independent individuals win. This is box office.

Quite often, cowards who’ve given up their status as true individuals play those heroic roles.

It’s a formula. You see it in the military and you see it in secret societies: “We’ll break you down, and then we’ll build you up.”

In Hollywood, there are of course exceptions to the rule. But on the whole, that’s how the game works.

If a space alien were given a few thousand movies to watch, in order to form an idea about what kind of society America is, he’d come out with the notion that we’re a nation of heroes and some of the greatest heroes are the men and women who run the film industry.

Then he’d discover, on closer examination, that these men and women have signed on to the Group Agenda, some form of Collectivism, regardless of what their secret convictions might be. They’re cowards and they’re ruled by fear.

They’re like millions of ordinary Americans: “The individual is dead, I’m with the group.”

The people who run the people who run the people who run Hollywood are well aware of all this, and they take pleasure in enforcing their brand of cynical exploitation.

They know all these group agendas are nothing more than fake fronts, promoted in order to convince the population that government cares about them.

They know because they give orders (and $$) to launch the groups and the agendas and the “share and care” hustle.

That, you could say, is the real movie.

It demeans the independent individual in every possible way.

Edward Bernays, the father of modern public relations, put it in an interesting fashion: “It is sometimes possible to change the attitudes of millions but impossible to change the attitude of one man.”

In other words, in order to control society, do everything possible to enroll individuals in groups, after which they’ll surrender their “impossible-to-change attitudes.”

The now-famous reporter, Glenn Greenwald, who is gay, understands the group-hustle. He wrote:

“Hillary is banal, corrupted, drained of vibrancy and passion. I mean, she’s been around forever, the Clinton circle. She’s a fucking hawk and like a neocon, practically. She’s surrounded by all these sleazy money types who are just corrupting everything everywhere. But she’s going to be the first female president, and women in America are going to be completely invested in her candidacy. Opposition to her is going to be depicted as misogynistic, like opposition to Obama has been depicted as racist. It’s going to be this completely symbolic messaging that’s going to overshadow the fact that she’ll do nothing but continue everything in pursuit of her own power. They’ll probably have a gay person [as President] after Hillary who’s just going to do the same thing.”

On the whole, Hollywood is its own slave-state, in which the slaves are hired to promote the free and powerful individual in movies.

Commercial, big-time movies. The hero wins. A safety valve for the masses, a blipvert for the mind, before a return to “real” life and the mouthing of sugary sentiments “of deep collective concern.”

Who breaks out from all this?

Only the individual.

Only. The. Individual.

In my own way, I’m a believer in groups. But not in groups whose agendas is tyranny. I will join and fight in any group whose agenda is freedom. I believe groups have power… numbers count.

When Paul Revere, riding alone on his horse, was shouting “the Red Coats are coming”, he had power as an individual. But, if no one had answered his call or shown up, there would have been no Revolution.

Same thing when Alex Jones started his own show, he was a powerful individual, but if no one would have followed him, it would have been a fiasco.

This is the main reason why I comment on this site. I use my personal power to try to make this site as powerful as The Alex Jones Show. But if I’m the only one commenting here, it will not happen.

A Bug’s Life – ”Then they ALL might stand up to us”

    • jetsam2flotsam says:

A good sentiment, but why not add to the power of the Alex Jones Show (which even I’ve heard of) – if you agree with his sentiments?
You see, the power of “Them” over us rests only in the perfectly normal human failure of people to be able to agree on anything politically.
It is in too many private horns blowing all at once – and with their alternate messages.

Much of it is caused by verbal narcissism – present company excluded – of course!

      • From Québec says:

I’m not sure what you are trying to say, when you write “(which even I’ve heard of)”. I’m guessing that you are saying that you listen to the Alex Jones Show. If that is the case, well, so am I. I’ve been listening to his show on a daily base since 11 years now. I also watch the Infowars Nightly News.

  2. Michael Burns says:

I was having this exact conversation last night.
I don’t like watching television anymore, I don’t think I really did like it at all. even when I was watching it. I have always looked at it through an art mind. And never so much as of lately. It the subliminal, the chemtrailed skies in the baxkground.
I am aware of the ways they use television to propagandize and bring the public to the required thinking, on pertinent matters of the day.
For instance science, scientists, scientism is under attack, in online media. Ongoing lawsuits as in Monsantoland. GMO’s and vaccination quabbles.
From many points of view scientists the new priests are at the center of most of what’s ailing us the last few years. And in the former points.
One of the most popular shows on television is “the Big Bang Theory”, if you are not aware of it the show about the trials and tribulations of three lovable scientists, nerds really; one is head an shoulders above the rest, a theoretical physicist. The two others are more reasonable genuises. We also have the token American blonde bimbo, and two female scientists who are wooing our young nerds.
Now as I watch very slowly the insertion of big brothers ideas and the illogical conclusions they come to in regards to love, relationships. They are infantile. In fact they are cliche’s of educated scientists.
The title of the comedy series is the beginning. The Big Bang Theory I think is a load of stinking clap trap. A theory that is unprovable. Personally, I think the universe has always been around and it is infinite, without end. This particular little materialistic corner over here were we are at present, is not what the whole Universe is about. We are living in a relatively run down part of the neighbourhood.
    I am digressing.

Hollywood puts the humorous, entertaining and more attractive spin for the kids , the youngun’s on what main stream is doing for the more mature daddies and mommies.
Your are correct Jon, Hollywood is a reverse cowardice.
But what has also come to my attention is the Hollywood breeding program. It is becoming a closed shop. We are now into the second generation of sons and daughters of the Hollywood greats. And in a lot of cases we are entertaining the third generation of those originals.
We see the likes of James Franco’s Kid, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell, Clint Eastwood’s kids. The grandkids of Lionel Barrymore. And it goes on and on, too many to mention here.
They are being taught at an early age to pick the up the gauntlet like their parents or parent. It has be ome more entrenched in elitism.
When you start hearing the stories from actors like Rod Schneider, or comedian Dave Chappell, on how crazy it really is.
The disgraceful antics that went on around Michael Jackson and Pedophilia. Unrelentless in their persecutuion of Michael.Just when Michael was breaking free of the corporation, and his valiantly trying to save music from commercialism. And try to help young and upcoming entertainers. His buying the rights to old Beatles tunes, stopping the corporation from using these in pizza and car commercials.
I believe that those who wished to remain free and individuals, brought the force of Hollywood down on themselves; Frances Farmer, Marilyn Monroe, James Dean, rock and roll artists like Jimmy Hendricks, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin.

There is always a lot of cop and medical science shows to slant public opinion.

    @Q
Groups by nature Q warp and bend ideologies to a group think. Compromise must be made if an individual agenda. And regardless of whither they are benign or evil in their intent, one must give up individualist to be a part of the group. Therefor losing personal power. Groupthink is the number one reason why individuals lose their personal power. And when you lose that power imaginative and creative power go with it. There is no such thing as a good group.

    • From Québec says:

I will have to disagree with you here Michael, although I understand what you are trying to say.

I believe that when you fight for a common cause, you are part of a group, whether you want to admit or not. But that doesn’t mean that you have to give up your individualism or your creativity. On the contrary, each person in that group can be a major asset to the cause.

One can write an article or a book about it, make a movie or a video, create a website, design T-Shirts or bumper stickers, make fliers and post them everywhere. He can go to a rally and create his own placard, he can start a petition, give conferences, start a radio show or call on a radio show, comment on alternative media, send e-mails or phone his congressman… the possibilities are endless. He can even start a soap opera for crying out loud…lol.

When individuals use their own power, imagination and creativity to join a group to fight a good cause (usually freedom) nothing can stop them and they usually succeed.

But an individual left alone by himself to fight a cause he cherishes, no matter how powerful he can be… all bets are off.

  3. Michael Burns says:

I will make my point by telling you a story Q.
Having been awake my entire life…I was born awake.
I was born with a venetian veil. Very sacred and lucky to the Celtic people. At least my grandmother thought so.

The difficulties that I experienced as a child and young adolescent. Were because of that awakeness. Being so terribly aware of the other side.
I am a survivor of those wars I had with the Catholic fathers to the fatherless, wishing to bring me into the great black and cultish group, Roman Catholicism. They try everything to break that wild Irish spirit. I was never part of the Catholic group think that opposed and warred with the protestant orange group think. I as an extremely reluctant and pretending Catholic had a protestant boy for a best friend. Needless to say we both paid dearly for that friendship, from the beatings from the opposing sides. And we would have to leave the confines of Dickensian row housing of Belfast for the county to spend quality time together. This, and a Aunt who lived in the country, inspired my great lifelong love for nature.
Having been tested at an early age and found to be exceptionally brilliant the Jesuit fathers thought they might coerce me, first by appalling and appealing conduct in front of my grandmother, a Irish peasant by any standards, and for me to become one of their own, by sending me, a poor Belfast street urchin to a private Catholic school. Well above and beyond the makings of a West Belfast boy. When most of the other Catholic boys were being sent to trade schools to become the next cannon fodder for industry; the shipyards of Harlan and Wolff. My family the Quinns are a long line of Catholic slaves that worked for that Titanic shipbuilder.

Going to Private Catholic school resulted in me being both being ostrasized by my mates around the neighbourhood. And fighting a war of attrition for my very soul. Plus it made for interesting Guerrilla tactics to evade the protestant neighbourhoods on my way home to West Belfast, wearing the uniform of St Augustine’s Boys School.
What was born out of those wars was a artist and a fierce individualist. Who would not and will not bend knee under any adversity. From that birth of fire I gained an unusual stance, on how to take on the world. The politics, the religions, the zealots, knowledge of the good vs evil. The man vs woman. The child vs society. I have been aware of living as, and trying to avoid living as a slave my whole life. And in my own way I have fought it tooth and nail. It has handed me beatings, imprisonment, poverty, I have lost friendships too numerous to mention, I have been a pariah for to long to have it matter anymore. And what have I learned and what I know. The group is the key. They (those strange and insane elites who run the world) use our need of each other. They use our clinging to family as a tool to oppression. Our friends and our mates are the ammunition to bring use quietly naked, hungry, and docile into their prison society.

The group can be infiltrated. The group unmasse can be moved to compromise. Because the group they know changes the individual, by its very love and exceptance of him, by it listening to his ideas. In what they believe is his isolation. Making him in the end compromise his values, for the sake of the whole, the group.

‘But an individual left alone by himself to fight a cause he cherishes, no matter how powerful he can be… all bets are off.” -Quebec

This is not so, because an individual has no real cause but his own. Armed with imagination and creative he can think his way out. He can think his way through. He can develop a thought like a virus, which can bring down a nation.

I am not here for you. You are not here for me. We can empathize in each others condition. We come here for distinctly different reasons. I am simply curious. I enjoy conversation and debate. I throughly enjoy Jon’s Posts immensely. He is brilliant and a unique thinker in these times of the collective thought.
I will not sacrifice what I am for the group thought. I know true when I hear it, see it.

“When individuals use their own power, imagination and creativity to join a group to fight a good cause (usually freedom) nothing can stop them and they usually succeed.”-Quebec

Bullshit…the MAN is a consummate Roman, divide and conquer is a mastered artform for him. And it’s lessons for the adversary are more than likely to come in an unmilitaristic fashion. Especially for those unlearned in the art of war…they are easy pickings for the trained mental tactician.
The man has think tanks that go at these problems all day long. They thinking people are trained in critical thought. They love thinking. How is the average groupee going to manage getting g around them. He can barely get his beer to his mouth.

You might write a song, or a book, a play or paint a painting. You might sculpt or write a poem. Hell, write a soap opera. But when you become part or even at a distance a member of some cause or a group, you lose your objectivity, you lose your ability to see the truth. You are loking at shadows on a wall. I am not saying there are not good causes to fight for…but you must do it alone.

Planet Walmart will only come down when each person wakes up, when each person realizes they are individuals first, that have creative power and imaginations and can choose to go to work or stay home. They can chooose to pay their tax or say no I will not. They can choose to obey law or say no. Only when each person finds their individualism will the walls come down. Only when they stand up and support themselves regardless of a system. In spite of the system. Groups allow for compromise, it a part of their make-up. They have too.
    And so…
someone or some few inside group will stand up and take control of it and move it to their own agenda even if they believe this is a righteous move for the group or not, and sometimes they don’t even realize they are doing this…groups regardless of whither they are good or bad, always deny individualism. Groups negotiate.

Most people that I hear talking about their individualism. Are really group thinkers anyway…
I will ask you these questions…
Where do you get your food?
You live in Canada, how do you heat your house?
    Do you need money?
Need I continue! This is group.
You need the group Q and therefor can never free yourself from it.

I live with my back to one of the last frontiers left in North America. The Great Boreal Forrests of Northern Saskatchewan, I can walk into the woods today, within twenty minutes of packing a backpack with a knife, small axe and a flint, some fishing line and thrive. I know there is food and fuel everywere in the woods.
I like being by myself, I am not afraid to be alone, mentally, physically, or with a point of view.
    That’s individual.
In the end people need their groups, they always will, they cannot survive without their groups…thats their fatal flaw.

    • From Québec says:

I had not read your answer before I’ve posted my new comment at: April 26, 2015 at 1:28, it wasn’t on the site yet.

Michael, I think our misunderstanding relies on this:

There is, on one side, the Pro GMO’s and Vaccines crowd. And on the other side, the Anti- GMO’s and Vaccines crowd. I call them Groups, you don’t.

For me these groups are made of powerful individuals who fights in their own individual way. No way would I ever surrender one million of an ounce of my freedom as an individual, while fighting this.

“I like being by myself, I am not afraid to be alone, mentally, physically, or with a point of view.
      That’s individual.” (Michael)

Another thing we have in common. I got married in 1967. I lived with my husband for a year, then he was sent to Chicago for his work. I didn’t like Chicago, so after a month, I came back to Montreal. He stayed there. Once a month, he would come back for a week-end. Seven years later (1974), I divorced him. Since then, I’ve been living alone and enjoy it fully.

I had many boyfriends, but the minute they would want to come and live with me, I would run away as fast as I could. I do not have children, my parents are dead, I know many people, but only have one or two persons that I can really call friends. I rarely call them or see them. I do have two sisters and a brother, but we don’t meet often. Although I love solitude, I’m still a very sociable person. I easily talk to strangers, I meet wherever I go. I adore debates and exchanging points of views with people.

“…trying to avoid living as a slave my whole life. And in my own way I have fought it tooth and nail.” (Michael)

Same here. I’ve left my parent’s house twice as I was a teenager, I did not want to follow their rules. Of course they had me back after finding me a few months later, I wasn’t 18 years of age, so I was not considered an adult by the law…lol. I was what you could call, the “Mouton Noir”of the family. Black sheep, I believe you say in English. I was also kicked out three times out of schools. There, also, I did not want to follow their rules. I’ve always been sort of an Outlaw.

“because an individual has no real cause but his own. Armed with imagination and creative he can think his way out. He can think his way through. He can develop a thought like a virus, which can bring down a nation” (Michael)

True and false. When the grounds of the whole world will be contaminated with GMO’s roundup, no matter if you live in the Great Boreal Forrests of Northern Saskatchewan, no matter if you have good seeds to plant, no matter if you can fish, all waters will be polluted with their toxic chemtrails and pesticides.

Didn’t you once tell me, that you have ended your career as an artist, because your family did not want to move to New-York city? Wasn’t that for the greater good of your family? Isn’t a family, a group?

Anyway, you have very good points, most of them I agree with. But not all of them. I do belive It is our right to live alone by our own laws, but even alone, we are all living on the same planet. If we let the Elites run the show, we will have no planet to live on sooner than we think. That’s my point.

      • From Québec says:

        Post Scriptum:

As far as living alone in the woods, are you kidding me? I’m 5’3 foot tall, weight 108 pounds, I can hardly open an olive jar. I’m a strong headed woman, but not very strong physically. Besides, I’m scared of snakes, bears, bees, squirrels, you name it. Plus, I do not own a gun, although I would like to have one. I wouldn’t be afraid to use it if necessary.

  4. From Québec says:

I woke up today and had a different understanding of your post, Jon.
This site keeps me thinking all the time.

Here is a different perspective of what I understand of it:

This is what religious books teach: “Surrender your status as an independent individual in life”, and ONE MAN will save you all, whether it is Jesus, Mohamed or any other Gods. The Rapture as they call it, will save you all.

But there is no such thing as a ONE MAN who will save us all.
They are selling us lies. The good shepherd who leads the herd is “nothing more than a fake front, promoted in order to convince the population that government (God) cares about them”.

Every individual has the power. And when people use their own individual power to join a group to fight a cause, they usually win.

And that is proven. Whether it is a good cause or a bad cause.
We see it all the time. Why do you think Monsanto and the Elites are always winning? Because they are powerful individuals who use their imagination and creativity to reach their goals. We can do the same.

    • Michael Burns says:

“Every individual has the power. And when people use their own individual power to join a group to fight a cause, they usually win.”-

Nor so…for instance this fight for Maui. Ever one is fighting on mainly regional, possibly state level. There will be long costly litagation. Moving from a lower level of government to a higher levels of beaurocracy.
And then TPP will engage an wipe the slate clean. Moving the legal wrangling to new beaurocracies withinthe level of globalism and Agenda 21.
      And then the TPP

  5. Michael Burns says:

Every fact is surrounded by a secret. Encased in a enigma. Cemented under a conundrum.
The litigation matrix is designed to confuse, frustrate and separate opposition. They can keep it court forever. Because this type of law is not born on criminal law. When requires a swift and speedy trial.

    • From Québec says:

Right! They have not win yet.

But only because their group is still not big and powerful enough. They need help from people of every state of the USA.

After all, Americans should be concerned about what is going out in Maui, Hawaii is also part of the USA and they will all be affected by the court’s decision. In fact, the whole world will be affected by that decision.

But, most people don’t have a clue of what is going on in Maui. This is why it is our duty, to educate the people world wide.

As of now, the Elites still run the show because it is composed of very powerful groups like bankers, corporations, politicians, corrupted judges, cops, Colonels, Agencies, etc, who use their imagination, creativity and skills to control us. But there will come a day when they will be outnumbered and render moot.

As far as the TPP and Agenda 21 are concerned, here again we will need help from people of every country in this world. If we all join in against them, there is no doubt we will win in the end. Unless, of course these idiots blow up the planet in despair, before we win.

Otherwise, there is no way the Elites will win this. These cowards will be running like rats into their underground bunkers… and we will make sure that we will cement every little opening crack so they will never be able to see the day of light again and that they will rot down there forever.

      • From Québec says:

“They can keep it court forever. Because this type of law is not born on criminal law. When requires a swift and speedy trial.” (Michael).

This is what I do not understand. Not criminal? Injuring people’s health and even killing them, is not criminal? Testing toxic chemicals on humans, is not criminal?

What planet are we living in?

  6. Michael Burns says:

When you take a look at the pollution Monsanto has gotten away with…when you look at how long it has taken people to organize and take this one corporation to court, on any matter. When you take a look at the amount of time necessary for the court proceedings to run their course it is over-whelming to say the least. Mind boogling; Insane; criminal; fucking surreal and very, very sad.

    http://www.chemicalindustryarchives.org/dirtysecrets/annistonindepth/intro.asp

“The Anniston PCB site consists of residential, commercial, and public properties located in and around Anniston, Calhoun County, Alabama, that contain or may contain hazardous substances, includingpolychlorinated biphenyl (PCB) impacted media. The Site is not listed on the NPL, but is considered to be a NPL-caliber site. Solutia Inc.’s Anniston plant encompasses approximately 70 acres of land and is located about 1 mile west of downtown Anniston, Alabama. The plant is bounded to the north by the Norfolk Southern and Erie railroads, to the east by Clydesdale Avenue, to the west by First Avenue, and to the south by Highway 202. Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) were produced at the plant from 1929 until 1971.”
    -wiki

Anniston, Alabama ran fifty years with Monsanto burying their dirty little secrets. The plant was closed almost thirty years before litigation began against them. In the end Monsanto and mainly Solutia Inc, Monsanto’s subsiduary agreed to $700 million to clean up a site that has been severely polluted, criminally polluted for close to seventy years.

“Sauget was incorporated as “Monsanto” in 1926. It was formed to provide a lighter regulatory environment and low taxes for the Monsanto chemical plants at a time when local jurisdictions had most of the responsibility for environmental rules. It was renamed in honor of Leo Sauget, its first Village President.[3]”
    -wiki

    http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sauget,_Illinois

Sauget, Illinois a town originally founded by Monsanto is a highly polluted place in the USA. It has produced the most PCB’S, of any place on the planet. Is court matter is still in litigation. Sauget is the birth place of Agent Orange and the Vietnam disease. That can of worms has still to be throughly opened.

Now these are events within the confines of the continental United States.
On a planet level, Monsanto, and Dow, Syngenta and Bayer and the endless list of chemical companies have dirty little secrets all over the place. Monsanto is in the top three of those.
And who are you really fighting?
What is Monsanto?…a group of super rich, affluent, political assholes. The very people who are making the judicial decisions against this monster; judges, politicians, elites, presidents and dictators, bankers and popes.

They never lose, even when they lose they win. A fine is agreed upon, and it’s usually digustly low or arranged. Latter new federal legislation, or a bill is enacted creating another corporate welfare pig trough.
In the end…and I hate to dishearten it is an exercise in futility. Its a rigged game Q.
You might wake people up, but you will never see justice.
Why? Because it is intentionally blind.

Personally were I stand, Monsanto is a criminal of the highest order, totally Psychopathic, without acumen. It must be as Kennedy said of the CIA. “Broken into a thousand pieces and scattered to the four winds.”
Its assets and monies immediately confiscated to try and repair the environmental damage it has created. Its management should be held an charged and prosecuted for crimes against humanity. Their fortunes confiscated to pay the damages for the sick am maimed. And the bankers that financed them, are complicit and criminals as well. Judges and politicians that hid and hide the crimes should disgraced and thrown in jail.
But that will never ever happen.
    Because money is god here.

    • From Québec says:

Michael, don’t be so pessimistic. Everything you said is true, but consider the fact, that the Internet hasn’t been around for that long, so people were not educated about all this shit going on.

All we had then, was the corrupted MSM to inform us. Now we have thousand of alternative media sites spreading the truth, day and night, throughout the whole world. The wheel is spinning faster then you think in our direction. We will win this war. And don’t forget that he bigger they are, the harder they fall. They will have a disastrous and spectacular defeat!.

Why do you think they want to control the Internet now with their Net Neutrality? It’s because we are starting to win the info war.. Even Hillary Clinton admitted on television that they were loosing the info war.

Keep your head up and your faith strong in humanity, Michael..

These last movies ( Elysium, Chappie, etc ) have been so ridiculously in-your-face predictive programming for the desired near-future dystopia its beyond pathetic. And most actors as we all know are castrated PC creatures. The showbiz machinery does everything for them, all they need really is a pretty face and join ’causes’, eventually becoming glorious UN peace ambassadors.
