The arcane and esoteric power

Arcane and esoteric, because the individual is so out of touch with his own wellsprings of power…the very concept of power seems so strange, so remote, so buried.
What is natural becomes distant.
The barrier between a person and his own power…what is it? What’s the shut-off switch? What turns a person into a creature of average habits and routines?
I’ve sliced and diced this question for more than a decade, and I keep coming back to the same answer.
Imagination.
First of all (and this may sound strange, but it isn’t), a person has to imagine his power.
Without that step, nothing happens.
Yes, for a time a person may experience physical power, as his hormone levels deliver boosts to his senses…but that’s not the authentic piece I’m talking about.
Power is imagined.
Perhaps that’s why, in the days when many alchemists practiced their arts, the elusive Quintessence they strove to understand was glimpsed by them as…the creative impulse.
Power is imagined.
It isn’t a rock that sits in the middle of the subconscious. It isn’t a thing. It’s a process.
Search through the history of philosophy and the history of spiritual systems, and you won’t find what I’m talking about here. You certainly won’t find it expressed succinctly.
Power is contacted through imagining power.
Therefore, when a person is cut off from his own imagination, he arrives at a dead-end. Nowhere to go.
Now, as for what separates a person from his own imagination, there are some straightforward answers.
Lack of familiarity. Lack of engaging with imagination as a child. People claiming that imagination is, in fact, only for children and never for adults.
In school or at home, at an early age (and I have experience with this as a former teacher), you can introduce children to imagination and stand back and watch the fireworks. Children are all about imagination, if you allow it. You can play games with them to introduce imagination. You can have them engage in art. You can have them imagine various scenarios. You can do all sorts of things.
As they grow up, you can help them keep their imaginations alive…and they will, in various ways, imagine their own power. They will begin to get it.
They will begin to realize that, beyond the reality they perceive, there are an infinity of other possibilities.
Eventually, you enter a level of sophistication for which there are no formal schools. On that level, people need to be shown that their power can encompass the physical, mental, emotional, and creative. They need to be shown, and they have to show themselves.
My three Matrix collections are designed for this purpose. That’s what I’m doing.
Imagination is the central key. It’s the basic platform, the launching pad.
Society, as it functions, has very little to do with any of this. In fact, individual power is something society is very suspicious about. Why? Obviously because, more and more, society is all about the group. The mass. The average and the dependent. It is engineered this way.
Yet, think about how many movies and television programs and comic books and novels and video games are all about individual power. This is the expression, however warped it may appear, of what is missing in a person’s life.
In previous articles, I have suggested that imagination has no limits. The same is therefore true of individual power. Most people would reject the so-called “paranormal” out of hand. They would say it is a delusion. Or if they believe in it, they would say it originates from a place that is beyond the individual.
This last proposition is really an attempt to disempower the individual, to make him into a “receptor.”
Notice that, when power is ascribed to some external force, the force becomes an object of religious or spiritual reverence, and imagination is immediately taken out of the equation. This is self-defeating, to say the least.
Power is imagined. It is seen. It is taken. It is used.
If you say this to a robot or an android, he gives you a blank look. He has no idea what you’re talking about. He gives himself a hundred excuses for avoiding this path. He invokes whatever programming he needs to, in order to say no.
Finally, there is this: in the history of every individual, there are memories of power, of having it and using it and seeing it in others. This history becomes a stratum, a fundament, a ground of understanding: power is real.
It is not, by its basic nature, evil or wrong or cruel.
What is cruel is shutting someone off from what can be his.
Think about all the reasons that are given to people, in order to unhook them from their own power…and then you understand what the root propaganda on the face of the Earth is all about.

I believe in the magic of imagination and I believe in individual power and I think that I have used these tools many times in many different ways successfully.
But I have never used it for physical. I will be testing that power, starting tonight. These days, I’m packing my stuff to move at the end of July. With the physical efforts it takes to do that, my back pain, that I had 2 years ago, came back almost worse than when I injured it. Every 10 minutes I have to stop, sit down and rest for a while.
Since I have no time and no money right now (moving is expensive) to see a Chiropractor, I will try to cure and ease my pain with my own power. After all, we have seen women lifting cars to remove their children stuck under the wheels of a car. That is power!
So, when I will go to bed tonight, I will imagine that I am creating inside of my body, some powerful healing energies, that I will send to the region where my spine hurts so much.
I’ll let you know if it works. I believe it will. Anyway, I’ll do it till it works. I’m a hard headed woman. I rarely capitulate
Hello, From Québec.
The physical power – control over your own body and overall living without pain or aching in muscle-joints and also higher energy can be achieved very easily If I may suggest, doesn’t matter you’re a man woman or aged 70 or 20.
Beyond every workout, physician, drug, therapy, anything..there is an exercise, which is a lost discipline at this day and age called calisthenics.
There are videos about it, books, whole thing but the most accurate (and only one I read) belongs to somebody which was a convict, who mastered this technique behind prison walls for 19 years and shared all he found out in a book called “convict conditioning”
Please don’t let this name misguide you. It’s not about being tough-making muscles, lifting heavy stuff (like cars as you described), buying some exercise machine and spending some time on it while looking over your watch on it everyday, it’s not even about buying anything. This is something for everyone, as it has no dependency like exercise machine or weights; you use your own body to strengthen and push it to It’s optimum. This is the true workout of the individual; being master and owning your own body to the maximum.
Even if you had a major injury in the past, or had surgery, or something else.. even if you were someone who worked in an office and never used his/her own body completely ever, you can start to apply this discipline daily and in the end, maybe you won’t lift cars but you will evolve your body to what it should be as terms of strength and flexibility, without any risk of injury.
You can access videos of this book, which is a DVD sold with it back when it’s released but today totally free on video sharing site(utube). A simple search on web will lead you to it. Full episoded of it’s DVD explaining those little tricks that Paul Wade, this convict mastered inside in a cell for 19 years.
I hope this helps.
also good luck with moving.
Thanks for the info, I will surely look into it.
My problem is that 3 vertebras slipped on each other, so I cannot bend backwards anymore.
As far as my muscles, are concerned, I never really did anything to boost them up. I did a lot of winter and summer skiing, ice skating and roller blades in my life, but all these sports are just about sliding easily, it takes no effort really. I also did a bit of cycling, swimming and dancing.
I was never a strong woman, always had problem to open a single olive jar…lol.
I hope I will find some good stuff in the video you have mentioned.
May want to sleep on the floor. Mattress can sag and not support back. Depending on if there’s knee pain, minimalist shoes can help both back and knee.
Dr. John Sarno’s “Healing Back Pain” is also a good resource with lots of real life examples from a former back surgeon who realized that the mind, imagination and emotions played at least as strong a role in the healing or not healing of back issues as the physical. Dr. Bruce Lipton’s “The Biology of Belief” is another book written by a doctor who came to recognize not only the placebo effect but also the power of the “no-cebo” effect, which limits people’s belief in their own ability to recover.
As someone who would be “permanently disabled” by a 1998 traumatic brain injury and whose spinal x-rays terrify my good friend who’s a chiropractor, I can personally attest that the imagination allows me to live a wonderful life that includes hauling “impossible” amounts of wood mulch, compost, and other things to have successfully transformed our lawn into an urban farm. I do highly recommend a Mini BioMat — for relaxation as much as for the warmth and healing. It’s a great tool that facilitates both the warmth to ease arthritic/pre-arthritic back and neck pain, but even more importantly, all the crystals and negative ions in that BioMat make it really easy to move into a powerful trance state. The Mini is cheaper than the full mat and allows much more flexibility. You can also look into refurbished mats, which are way cheaper than the new ones. I have no relationship with the company. I just have many clients who’ve had amazing results with the BioMat, and I personally dropped all additional care for my back after getting one and just behaving as though my back had zero limitations.
Best of luck to you! Stubbornness can be an extremely valuable asset. 🙂
Thank you so much, Laura! This is very valuable information. I’ve printed your post and will look into it. Very kind of you, there are such nice people on this site.
My back pain has slowed down, now that I have found the perfect place for me to move in. Stress makes us acidic and makes pain come back. Now that I am relaxed again, I’ve returned to a neutral, slightly alkaline pH, and the pain is going away.
Thanks also to all the other people who gave me information.
You’re most welcome! Happy to help and glad you’re relaxing again. 🙂
When a person is cut off from his imagination, or from the idea of individual power, there are relationships – the myriad of tangents in which group, interpersonal little adventures can go, and the analysis of all that; in other words, it’s a whole Universe in which the Elite would like to lock us , the Universe of the inoffensive, the weak and proud, the socialized. By the way, there is some imagination in that too ( who said that socialized people have no creativity, the most “creative” people out there are wimps: actors, writers, etc. ) but a lower form, kind of a mental outburst, an abstract ersatz that never translates into physical, real power in their lives. They stay away from REAL power because it’s image is associated with the system, the establishment, Royal Dynasties, Moguls, aristocrats – nasty people at the top. And that image is kept alive by the denigrators of power, as well as this sense that to have power, to BE someone, one must be rich, enroll into Ivy League colleges, get to the top of his career ( in which he will be stripped of any REAL power and given a counterfeit, generally by esoteric clubs like Freemasonry ), etc. And a bonus for the controllers is that most people, looking at themselves and realizing they’ll never achieve that, surrender preemptively. So you got fake power from the laureates of the system ( who are minions ) on one side, and fake rebelliousness and “cultural change” power from the sissies on the other ( that’s why Socialism was pushed ). The assault on individual power is multifaceted, sophisticated. The UN considers the individual the main enemy of World Peace, remember. We’re fighting against Titans.
Real power is to look at everything from above, to put yourself in the same level as the Platos and Aristotles of the World ( is there a more annoying term than “intellectual authority ? ) and to question and assault authority from many angles. But most peasants today are content being numbers, playing with their counterfeits.
Thanks Jon.
The last paragraph…
You couldn’t have said It better.
Thank you
