The symbol fakers

The symbol fakers

And the freedom to invent symbols

Symbols have intrinsic meaning? No.

Even if certain symbols and their meanings were embedded in the construction of the universe or embedded in consciousness, they would not be final. They would still be apparatus, imposition; and accepting them and their meanings as final would be a mistake.

Freedom is beyond any of this. Imagination is beyond any of this.

For one thing, symbols are what secret societies promote for their own ridiculous ends. The power of those symbols is ZERO. The only power is hypnotic…because the secret society people SAY the symbols have esoteric meanings. That’s the hypnosis piece. It’s cheap. It’s a cheap trick. It’s meaningless, except for the gullible audience who buys in.

Circles, squares, stars, pentagrams, eyes, triangles, horns; it’s all nonsense. Crap.

I could say a triangle means three naked men and a dog with a red collar are dancing on the moon. So what? Or I could say a triangle is a deep Masonic symbol denoting a portal into Satan’s navel. So what?

People sell what they sell and buy what they buy.

People give meaning to symbols. Symbols don’t give their meaning to people.

Tracking the history of symbol-usage can be helpful in discovering what various secret societies have been doing down through time, but that is far different from saying the symbols have intrinsic meaning.

Symbols are often derived from promoted cosmologies, but the cosmologies themselves are invented, just as paintings are invented. This latter fact escapes most people. They prefer to attach themselves to some “structure of deep reality,” the way a barnacle attaches itself to the hull of a ship.

After they’ve done that, the meanings of various symbols appear to be final and unshakable.

It’s an illusion.

The early Tibetan practitioners knew this. They viewed their own pantheon of semi-gods and gods as provisional—just another cosmology—and they expected their students to eventually realize this is well.

All cosmologies and symbols are inventions.

Language is a complex of many, many symbols, upon which humans agree, in order to connect with each other. Poets stretch and expand language and create new frontiers of metaphor and image and word-association.

Earth culture has always been based on the premise that there are a few poets, and everyone else receives poetry that has been co-opted and twisted into religious and “spiritual” cosmologies.

Any real poet could invent a hundred cosmologies. He would never assume there is just one.

exit from the matrix

To the degree that billions of people believe they could never be poets, Earth culture sinks over time. It becomes authoritarian, which means the population attaches itself to any one of several key cosmologies (poems), and then you are talking about mind control.

Accepting symbols and their meanings as “inherent” is a powerful form of mind control, and no matter how loudly people proclaim that symbols have ultimate meanings, those people are operating in a hypnotic state.

Of course, they don’t know that, because they surrender the possibility that they could become poets and artists.

They try to love the reality machine.

Symbol Fakers…YES! Thanks for writing about it. I have always had a hard time taking them – symbols – seriously. L😊

I wonder if symbols could function as visual cues similar to trigger words a hypnotist might use. If so, a symbol could function as if it has intrinsic power, although in reality it has none. Maybe the whole idea is to associate a particular symbol with a particular state of mind, and use it to trigger the same state of mind in other contexts.

For example, the all-seeing eye on the dollar bill. It represents something, according to legend, but that’s not what’s important–it could be any symbol–and the sole purpose is to associate that symbol with the feelings associated with money, like a sense of security or well-being, for example. Then the symbol could be used in other contexts to trigger the same state of mind.

What is the difference between symbols and signs?
Sometimes it is obvious, sometimes it is not.

Symbols have been used in almost all fields of life. In Astrology, mathematics, biology, sciences, religions, secret societies, and so on.

Let’s take the star as a symbol, for instance. It’s been used for just about everything.

Is the Star symbol a faked symbol? It could be, it probably is… still, you better take it seriously in the following case, because if you don’t it’s at your own peril…lol

    Well said, Jon…..

For the most part I agree with what you have to say Jon…I find also the fear and superstition that coalesces all these symbols into what I have heard you call…hmm…correct me if I am wrong; “frozen thought, hardened old energy blockages.”

When I first bought this old convent that I live in, I found much that related to it’s old life as a nunnery. The place was full of crucifixes, crosses were everywhere; from primitive sticks tied together around the garden (Vegetable) area, to strips of palm fronds, slit and pierced together in the form of a cross in my garage, expensive and ornate crosses received as gifts or on a pilgrimage to Rome were found in all the rooms of the nuns.
They were made in pewter and rose-wood, silver and plastic, I had 23 crosses.

When I said I was going to toss them out, people I know, my family stated that it would come to no good, I would be cursed. Cats and dogs would fall from the heavens, I would lose my mojo, I would have to spend extra time in purgetory…I have about seven thousand years to spend there already.

I took the stance of Andres Serrano the “Piss Christ” artist and decided I was going to break the dam symbol. I was going to storm heaven in my own little way. Pissing against the wind so to speak. I’ve heard God hates a coward anyway.
I had decided I needed to think about this piece of art I was going to make with the crosses, and so I took a while…too long; when I came to an idea, to my disappointment the crosses had gone missing.

But we don’t agree on those symbols; the English language, written and spoken is the language of a slave Jon.
We are conditioned into the language from an early age and use a rather large bible of symbol definitions to choose for our ideas, thoughts and feelings.
The language is not made for us, but is made to communicate with us.
And the words never seem to be just right…never our own but always borrowed from the other.
As a matter of fact, grammar is one the great pillar of the Trivium as you know. The Trivium structure of logic would fall apart without grammar.

We do not completely connect to words, unless we ‘can’ break them and make them our own, which is the toil of a day for poets.
The basis of the language, the sound of it, and how it pronounced; ‘buzzwords’ signify language written or spoken that calls to arms the androids to rally round a particular stigma. It’s the entrallment to the pre-digested definition of a cause for a group, organization or collective. Words serve to place identity, labels on what surrounds us.
The dictatorship of compartmentilizing and precision. Everything has a name and everything has a place, everything has a purpose.

It seems apparent in the POTUS new Executive Order: Using Behavioral Science Insights to Better Serve the American People.

    https://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/2015/09/15/executive-order-using-behavioral-science-insights-better-serve-american

A document that aids government professionals, agencies and contractors to manipulate language, create language to motivate, and/or streamline movement of the American people towards what the government wishes. Bring to a more amiability the slave/master dichotomy.

Using the usual suspects the Brookings, MIT and Harvard think-tanks. Who will of course delightfully jump on board. And rally a call to the appropriate professionals.
The language will shaped to suite it’s purpose.
Propaganda will become easier to carry out and much more user-friendly.
    The document states:

    (ii) improve how information is presented to consumers, borrowers, program beneficiaries, and other individuals, whether as directly conveyed by the agency, or in setting standards for the presentation of information, by considering how the content, format, timing, and medium by which information is conveyed affects comprehension and action by individuals,as appropriate;

    More shackles for the mind.
Some words are not allowed or considered offensive, precision is the key; some words are only allowed to be spoken or written by a specific race or group.
    Who agrees on this?

That is why I seem to come so naturally to visual art. Its my language. There is room for one to slip into the language and make it their own.

  6. Michael Burns says:

    scriptum:

Seems I lost part the government document in my rant…the vital remains.

    (ii) improve how information is presented to consumers, borrowers, program beneficiaries, and other individuals, whether as directly conveyed by the agency, or in setting standards for the presentation of information, by considering how the content, format, timing, and medium by which information is conveyed affects comprehension and action by individuals, as appropriate;

(iii) identify programs that offer choices and carefully consider how the presentation and structure of those choices, including the order, number, and arrangement of options, can most effectively promote public welfare, as appropriate, giving particular consideration to the selection and setting of default options; and

(iv) review elements of their policies and programs that are designed to encourage or make it easier for Americans to take specific actions, such as saving for retirement or completing education programs. In doing so, agencies shall consider how the timing, frequency, presentation, and labeling of benefits, taxes, subsidies, and other incentives can more effectively and efficiently promote those actions, as appropriate. Particular attention should be paid to opportunities to use nonfinancial incentives.

    Did your dog eat them?

And when you have a conversation with your dog, do you use words or do you just bark?

    Just being curious here!

Nah… Just teasing you a little bit. I’m in a very good mood today. Listening to that Junior Brown song, cracks me up every time.

  8. Gökmen says:

One word comes to my mind: astro-theology.
Amazing how many..millions of people stacked behind such stories in the name of religion, cults, secret societies etc and ofcourse symbols they represent.

Lets take big dipper, it only looks like a chariot from planet earth. It won’t look nothing like that if you change your point of observation in space.

“so, lets invent some spacecraft and go 2million lightyears ahead and see if big dipper changes…” It almost feels like, people hooked into these ideas saying out loud, yelling “I belong to planet earth, I will shape all possible outcomes to support this idea. At this point of observation, I am static as a stone. Lets go to war” — process of creating boundaries for mind, in order to have some security..what an illusion; paradox of building insecurity while claiming it is security.

They think, people who believe these symbols, they completely surrender to ideas like: order out of chaos for example: synthetic wars, terror etc. At all levels, the traumatic experience should be preserved, in order to keep this fake, reflective consciousness alive.

I will drop famous quote from prophet of singularity here:
“Does God Exist? Well I would say, not yet.”

Prime example of science being used to create a god to worship. Science as religion.

I mean, they are fake as 2 dollar bill, these people. It’s not like, they have the power of telepathy yet they are forcing alphabet on people while they are communicating in some more advanced way. They are faking that they HAVE power. Symbols themselves are inventions, representations of reality.

  9. Paul says:

“Or I could say a triangle is a deep Masonic symbol denoting a portal into Satan’s navel. So what?”

    LOL!

Now that’s one portal to bypass.
