Matrix and creation

If you wanted a very general, very quick definition of the Matrix, it would be: “things as they are.”
Leaving the Matrix involves: inventing things that aren’t.
This is why, in my collection, Exit From The Matrix, I include a series of powerful imagination exercises.
Imagination is intimately wrapped up inventing things that aren’t. It all starts with imagination.
Every artist, whether he knows it or not, whether he admits it or not, is operating from imagination. He isn’t operating from “reality.”
Reality is the cover story in this universe.
It dampens individual invention.
The universe says, “Here is everything. Your only job is figuring out how it works.”
If you buy that sales pitch, you’re in the labyrinth. You’re in deep. You’re in the dark without a flashlight.
Whereas, you have a titanic potential to invent.
You have an unlimited capacity to imagine.
And so?
You can go beyond things as they are.
You can go so far beyond them you begin to flex new muscles, new energy, new life.
Then consciousness really means something.
If you read everything I’ve just written so far in this article to a million people, only a very small number would understand what you were talking about.
Why is that?
Because they are utterly bogged down in “things as they are.”
They are up to their ears in “things as they are.” They’re adjusting to those things. That’s their life’s work.
This is the very odd situation we find ourselves in on this planet.
After a while, it doesn’t seem so odd, because it is the status quo. You become used to it, in the same way you could get used to seeing thousands and thousands of purple and pink six-legged miniature elephants on the street, if you saw enough of them often enough, from the moment you were born.
And if no one pointed out that these creatures were unusual.
Well, billions of people failing to recognize their own creative power is actually far more unusual.
Getting out of the Matrix isn’t like your standard prison escape. It isn’t a matter of digging a tunnel or melting bars. It’s matter of waking up a capacity that is inherent and primary: imagination.
And then using it.
We live in one reality among a potential infinity of realities, and every individual has the capacity to invent that infinity.
That’s the stark truth of it all.
Attempting to detour around the truth or ignore it or bury it and then proceeding to look for an exit misses the whole point.

I would define The Matrix as the way reality is perceived by the ‘fallen’, or dualistic consciousness; that is, the consciousness of the “self” and the ‘thinker’; asserting, from the very outset, that there is a completely different dimension of consciousness beyond desire and fear, pleasure and pain, image and thought, and good and evil, for the direct observation of “objective reality”. In other words, escape from The Matrix is instantaneous, or not at all.

Fallen? Sounds so biblical Michael.
It goes much deeper than dualism.
The great reality machine is 24/7 on the world illusions.
It is nano particles and micro-wave. It is scalar and pharmaceuticals. It is the food, water and air you breath. Much deeper. Much much deeper.
It is a great dragon wrapped around your soul.
It is a parasite that feeds on your misery.
Your are powerless in this three d plain. Unless you find your “own power” and create your “own reality”.
So, what’s wrong with Biblical? Unbeknownst to the religious ‘authorities’, the Revelations describe the difference between the consciousness Created by God and the dualistic ‘fallen’ consciousness.
The duality pertains to the consciousness that is used to perceive everything you mentioned in your argument.
A ‘great dragon wrapped around your soul’?
That argument is, itself, based upon the duality: ‘your soul’ is the very manifestation of the duality as a spatiality of consciousness. All spatialities are dualistic.
Any reality that you create can be destroyed, since it originates in time, which is an illusion of the dualistic ‘thinker’.
The ultimate Reality can only be observed. It is beyond the illusions and the creations of the “self” an the ‘thinker’.
Interesting perspective. I was thinking of the Matrix as THE Reality that we are programmed to exist in. In that sense, I don’t think it’s instantaneous to escape. Rather, an ongoing waking up.

I believe William Blake said, “Anything that can be believed is an aspect of truth.” Seems he was talking about the same thing.
Perception of reality is instantaneous. As observed by Krishnamurti, anything that occurs as part of a process over time validates the illusions of the ‘thinker’, is a part of memory and death. The perception of the dimension of consciousness/knowledge outside of The Matrix IS the escape from The Matrix.
Belief occurs at the level of thought and duality.
Reality is perceived/observed rather than thought.

The book, the poetry…nothing…its not bad poetry.
It’s just the fundamental and dogmatic abeyance to the words, it that unshakable belief that every word is true; the violence caused by the lunatic fringe on that behalf.
The war and slaughter, the wonder about all the books that have been burnt through history and that one never made to the top of the pyre. I find that astonishing.

You’ve been seduced by the lies of the religious officials; whose JOB is to lie. That’s what they get PAID for. But they do not have ONE clue as to the meaning of the Revelations. They can’t even understand that Chapter 3 of Genesis is a description of the origin of the dualistic consciousness; or that the consciousness ‘Created by and in the image of God’ (Genesis 1:27) is what the Eastern perspective refers to as the “uncreated” (relative to the creation of the images of the “self” & the thoughts of the ‘thinker’). All of this is explained in some detail in the Gospel of Truth found at Nag Hammadi.

That’s what the THEOLOGIANS do. They IMAGINE the ‘Truth’ (the “creature of deceit” in the Gospel of Truth); they IMAGINE that they have Knowledge of the Revelations…
Right along with zombies coming out of graves & people flying out of the sky on white horses.
Their imaginations provide the rationale for GENOCIDE.
Imagination originates in the ‘fallen’, dualistic consciousness of the “self”; referred to in the Revelation of John as the “beast of the sea”. NOT an imagination. An observation of the emergence of that dualistic consciousness itself from the perspective of the non-dualistic consciousness (Created by God).
Why were the Dead Sea Scrolls suppressed? Because the religious officials did not have ONE clue as to what they mean. And that is a dangerous threat to their ‘authority’. (Especially because Jesus authored the Thanksgiving Hymns.)
Look at the commentary introducing the Gospel of Truth.
A NAKED admission that the Christian theologians have NO understanding WHATSOEVER what the Teaching of Jesus is.

I read your comment here, It’s been a time since I read someone contradicts himself a lot (last one was 5 hours ago at my slave job) anyway.
There can’t be anything, nothing could ever exist in both physical and mystical realms without duality. You can’t identify black unless you had white and so on.
Transcending duality is the goal for higher human experience, not taking part on one of the dualities and trying to erase the other. You would undo yourself in such case, your thought can not make sense without the opposite. You need them both, they make each other. Again, what an individual needs to achieve is to transcend duality.
You transcend duality and step into infinity. pretty good. What you won’t do is to identify yourself with any side. Thats the most basic brainwashing-mind control method. You would die in an instant if you had chance to look at your blood stream and see the battle going on inside your bloodstream. That battle is harmony in a higher level, you are healthy because of it.

Well, there is an important reason why the teaching is oral rather than written: it’s to diminish misunderstandings like this.
Everyone has a “self” & a ‘thinker’; they exist at the level of duality, or the ‘fallen’ consciousness. This is necessary to live in the space-time reality (the example of black vs. white). All sensations & perceptions of a “self” & thoughts of a ‘thinker’ exist at the level of duality.
In addition, however, there is a non-dualistic dimension of consciousness which is beyond duality, space & time. That is the realm of what the Eastern esoteric traditions refer to as the “objective reality” or the “observing consciousness”; or, to the monotheistic Revelations: the consciousness Created ‘by and in the image of God’.
The difficulty, then, is living in the world of duality; while, at the same time, having a knowledge of the non-dual.
So, I have some difficulty with the term “transcend”. The knowledge of the non-dual is beyond the “self” & the ‘thinker’; but I would not want to give the impression that any “self” could **attain** non-duality. For example, there is no ‘higher self’ (ALL “selves” are spatial & dualistic); beyond the “self” is the non-spatial; another dimension of consciousness which exists parallel to the dualistic or ‘fallen’ consciousness of “self” & ‘thinker’.
So it may be merely a quibbling over the terms we are both using.
Matrix mind control software gives all conscious species intelligence, vision, memory capacity etc etc. You can’t leave the matrix because you are created and activated by the matrix system.
